The GlobalWind vector sets the direction and strength that wind blows through an experience, affecting terrain grass and dynamic clouds. You can set it as a constant vector, or adjust it through scripting to create cyclical gusts of wind.
To make it easier to tune the Wind to exactly the way you like it, we are introducing the new Wind widget. The Wind widget allows you to visualize how the wind is currently blowing using a wind sock and gives you a direct way of modifying the speed and direction of the wind.
This property specifies the direction and strength that wind blows through the experience, affecting terrain grass, dynamic clouds, and particles. See the Global Wind article for details.
Don’t know any programming, but want WindShake running in your game? Import brings in the latest WindShake module and a script that’ll get it up and running right away. One click is all it takes. Having to playtest your game just to see what WindPower value looks best is… annoying.
In many fantasy Roblox games, I see a wind particle effect that makes the game have more details and I was wondering on how to do that. Here is an example from a game called “Weaponcraft [DEMO]” If you know how it works and how to implement it into your game, please let me know. Thank you.
I’ve been working on a game for a while where you climb a mountain and I would like to add an obstacle such as wind. that will slowly move the player in one direction if they are in a given area.
This is a module that creates visible wind around you, similarly to Wind Waker and other games. It may add a better depth to cartoony or low poly games.
I got bored, so i made a random wind direction generator that has settings in the script. The script includes the possibility of storm type winds to happen. If you wish to turn off storm winds, but do not know how to edit scripts, just change the chance value below 1, or change stormMultiFactor to 1
