With just enough mid-level moisture in place -- and with the heating of the day -- a few orographic lift thunderstorms are possible this afternoon. Here's a look at the just-updated HRRR weather computer model outlook as far as the location and timing of rain for areas of Southern California through very-early Monday morning. The Coachella Valley may see a few bands of showers rotate-in from the North later today as the source low pressure system moves to our East. A few mountain thunderstorms are a possibility later today as well. The Valley may see a few lingering sprinkles early-Monday morning.
