A dramatic car fire broke out just before 2 p.m. on Friday, September 12, in Parsippany at the corner of Route 46 and Waterview Boulevard. Witnesses reported hearing a loud bang before utility lines fell onto the vehicle, forcing the occupants to evacuate. They appeared shaken but unharmed as the car was quickly consumed by flames and a nearby pole split and burned.
