Dips are not just an up-and-down sagittal plane exercise. Think about the frontal plane too. How? By concentrating on opening or spreading the pecs apart at the bottom of every rep. Remember, this will accentuate the stretch on the east/west fiber arrangement. Hold for a brief pause to prolong the pain (I mean stretch) and you’ll feel dips entirely different the next time you do them. Let the gains begin! | ATHLEAN-X
