A 15-foot python was captured by officials after it had been frightening residents of a Garland, Texas, neighborhood in early June. According to the City of Garland, Texas, Government, the python had been “circling a neighborhood yard,” and had even trapped one resident on the top of his truck. A Garland Animal Control officer responded to the scene. “Despite multiple strike attempts from the snake and a tense crowd gathering, our officer stayed calm, professional, and focused on protecting the
