Monstercat has grown, and big institutions feel more corporate - a small corner store feels more familial than Walmart, for example. This is a side effect of label growth and I wouldn't worry much about it.

Ive been listening to monstercat for a good while, probably since like 2012-2013, but it seems like after uncaged volume 6, I personally havent found any artists or tracks on monstercat that I enjoy a whole lot. Yeah, thats the difference between Monstercat and NCS for me too, the community here is much more invested in the releases and artists and is generally more open for new sounds. People here like to delve deeper into what makes a song good or bad or what the artist was trying to express with a track. You wouldnt see that on an NCS subreddit.

i was a regular on monstercat's twitch chat from 2016 to 2018, and could definitely curate a playlist full of songs i heard most often back then (including like six tracks each from 005 and 006), so seeing this is bittersweet, but at the same time, it makes sense.
