Oct 20, 2016 · The better pistol bullets I tested in water were usually captured in the 3rd or 4th jug. The 223/5.56 55 grain FMJ usually fragments at the cannelure and stops in the 3rd jug but beyond 70-100 yards the bullet appears to flatten at the base and basically stays intact and will penetrate deeper.

Jun 15, 2010 · I used to know and it 5-6k Reefraider should know. Negative....I just scored a 5gal bucket from work of 5.56 brass....its about 2500, it might hold 5k if each piece was stacked in with each other, but loose it is about 2500.

Reloading 6.5 grendel, any tips or suggestions on powder?
Dec 21, 2024 · Notes on 6.5 Grendel kinda limited but one load was mentioned: 29.6gr IMR-8208 under a Speer 90gr TNT bullet was magic. As others above have stated powders like Hodgdon H322 and IMR-8208 have become very scarce and expensive. Can't imagine how fast American Reloading would sell-out of a reclaimed powder if they compared it to IMR-8208.
