The 223/5.56 55 grain FMJ usually fragments at the cannelure and stops in the 3rd jug but beyond 70-100 yards the bullet appears to flatten at the base and basically stays intact and will penetrate deeper.

Dec 21, 2024 · Notes on 6.5 Grendel kinda limited but one load was mentioned: 29.6gr IMR-8208 under a Speer 90gr TNT bullet was magic. As others above have stated powders like Hodgdon H322 and IMR-8208 have become very scarce and expensive. Can't imagine how fast American Reloading would sell-out of a reclaimed powder if they compared it to IMR-8208.
