The Bay Area has two theaters where tickets for The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm are on sale: AMC Metreon 16 and Regal Hacienda Crossings. The showtimes are at 2 p.m. on July 16, 2026, and 7 p.m. July 17-19,

Listings have appeared for several major IMAX 70mm venues including AMC Lincoln Square in New York, AMC Metreon in San Francisco, TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, and BFI IMAX in London. These theaters are among the limited 30 or so worldwide capable of projecting in 70mm IMAX.

The starting gun for ‘The Odyssey’ hype is about to fire, with tickets for Nolan’s movie about to go on sale a year in advance in some IMAX 70mm locations.
