BOSTON — Seven straight times, Aaron Judge faced Garrett Crochet prior to his ninth-inning at-bat against the Boston lefty, and Judge struck out. It was the second time in his career one pitcher has gotten Judge that many at-bats in a row, with Zach Eflin doing it before, according to Elias.

Four times, Aaron Judge came the bat against Garrett Crochet. The first three times, Crochet recorded a strikeout, extending Judge’s streak of futility to six straight plate appearances ending in a punch out against the Red Sox ace lefty, dating back to last Saturday in the Bronx.

Judge struck out twice against the All-Star in his first two at-bats on Friday, making it five consecutive strikeouts.
