More than 33 million Americans were under coastal flood advisories on Aug 20 as Hurricane Erin head north toward the U.S. mainland.

Category 2 Hurricane Erin continued its path up the East Coast on Aug. 21, bringing flooding and dangerous surf conditions to coastal communities.

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons vowed to “flood" Boston with agents after Mayor Michelle Wu doubled down on her pledge to resist the crackdown on illegal immigration.

Mayor Michelle Wu had said she would “not back down” from the city policy of limiting police from cooperating with ICE on civil immigration enforcement efforts.

The Texas legislature passed a law that requires youth camps to created detailed evacuation plans after 27 girls died in flooding at Camp Mystic in Texas. Jason Allen reports that residents are still struggling to recover.
