During the NBA Summer League, NBA2K announced some of the new details for NBA 2K26, including the player rating for Flagg. Ronnie 2K revealed in person to Cooper Flagg what his rating would be, going into his first season in the NBA. Flagg will start as an 82 overall. This is pretty incredible for a player just entering the NBA at 18 years old.

Cooper Flagg’s official player rating for NBA 2K26 is an 82, and following the reveal, Flagg shared his thoughts on his official rating. “I’m very happy with that,” Flagg said. “I’ve been playing 2K for a while so that’s a very generous rating.”

The Duke basketball one-and-done bounced back from what was a lackluster NBA 2K26 Summer League debut.
