Newcastle United have confirmed the departure of Callum Wilson after five seasons on Tyneside following the expiration of his contract on June 30. Wilson, who joined from Bournemouth in 2020, made 130 appearances for Newcastle and scored 49 goals.

Having signed for Newcastle in 2020 following his departure from AFC Bournemouth, Callum Wilson made his debut for the Toon against West Ham United on the opening day of the 2020/21 campaign, and he marked that milestone by scoring Newcastle’s first goal of the season.
