The Washington Commanders and Buffalo Bills go into NFL Conference Championship weekend as respective underdogs; however, both teams are more than capable of pulling off upsets.

Championship Sunday has arrived and it feels simultaneously as though the NFL season just began and also that we’d never get here. Three of the four teams playing for their conference crowns are exactly who we expected would be here when the season started: The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bills have been one of the few teams in the NFL to take down the Chiefs in recent seasons, beating them in each of their past four regular-season matchups — though falling short twice in the postseason. This might be the best Josh Allen-led Bills team Patrick Mahomes has seen yet, though.

The Chiefs overcame the Bills in a tense fourth quarter, moving on to meet the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
