Penix exploded onto the scene after taking over for Kirk Cousins with three games left to go in the 2024 season. While the Falcons went 1-2 in that stretch, a porous defense was largely to blame for Penix not going a perfect 3-0 as starter. He was pretty sensational for only having played in three NFL games.
