A former Canton mayoral candidate has taken her fight for City Hall to court.

Canton has agreed to settle a 2023 lawsuit that accused the city of dumping raw sewer and water into the basement of Recovery Hall in Canton. The city will pay $98,500 to have the lawsuit dismissed.

Summer is almost here. Canton is reminding residents about the curfew for minors and regulations for the DORA district.

On Thursday, city officials accepted the $20,000 grant check, which was used to renovate the theater’s facade.
