Since Thunderbolts* opened in theaters last week, Marvel Studios has been pushing it as *The New Avengers. That appears to have paid off as the movie is only expected to suffer a -53% second weekend drop.

If the average ticketholder is unmarried, unemployed, and uninspired, the film’s notion will make a good deal of sense. Otherwise, it is merely strange and sad.

It isn't exactly a shock that Marvel would consider Schreier a top contender to bring the X-Men back into the fold. "Thunderbolts*" not only earned overwhelmingly positive reviews
