The Indianapolis Colts were named a “potential landing spot” for top free agent safety Talanoa Hufanga by Pro Football Focus. The need at the safety position is obvious for the Colts. For one, at a minimum, depth is needed with only Nick Cross, Rodney Thomas, and Marcel Dabo currently under contract for the 2025 season.

For the Colts, PFF did not select them as a best landing spot for any of the top free agents on offense, but instead believe that right guard Will Fries would be a good fit for the Texans.

Nelson is now the only player in Colts history to earn Pro Bowl honors in his first seven seasons, and the first Colts player since quarterback Peyton Manning to make seven straight Pro Bowls. Nelson is also one of three offensive linemen (Richmond Webb, Joe Thomas) in NFL history to be selected for the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven seasons.
