San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is expected to be suspended for the first three games of the 2025 NFL season for violation of the league's substance abuse policy, head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Wednesday on KNBR radio.
Last week, the Niners added wide receiver Skyy Moore in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. The team also has veterans Robbie Chosen and Russell Gage, who suffered a knee injury during practice, but is expected to be good to go by Week 1.
The 49ers have been dealing with injury issues at wide receiver all summer and the list grew this week when Russell Gage sprained his MCL in practice.
