Since March 2023, Corenswet has been married to actor Julia Best Warner, whom he met at an acting summer camp when he was still a young boy. Though their wedding was years ago, the pair only made their red-carpet debut this week, at the Los Angeles premiere of Superman. Warner and Corenswet also have a one-year-old son.

At least two characters from James Gunn’s Superman — which is now in theaters and officially launches the film side of the new DCU — are being eyed to headline TV spinoffs. The Superman movie stars David Corenswet (of TV’s The Politician and Lady in the Lake) as the titular Kal-El aka Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent,
