The Twins are already without a few key players: rookie infielder Luke Keaschall has been on the injured list with a fractured forearm he suffered in just his seventh big-league game and outfielder Matt Wallner has been sidelined for a month by a strained hamstring.

Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton has joined shortstop Carlos Correa on the 7-day concussion injured list after the teammates collided while chasing a shallow fly ball in a Thursday afternoon game against the Baltimore Orioles.

Correa appeared to take the brunt of the collision on Thursday when Buxton's forehead and chin smacked into the back of his head and left shoulder, respectively. He appeared woozy but exited the field under his own power following a prolonged visit by the athletic training staff.
