Nathaniel Lowe delivered his second key hit in as many games Thursday night, when he laced the tiebreaking double in the seventh inning to help the visiting Boston Red Sox earn a 6-3 win over the New York Yankees.

The heroism, however, was short-lived, as the Red Sox subsequently failed to produce a run on bases-loaded situations later in the ninth, and then in 10th and 11th innings. He's served as a pinch hitter and DH since being added to the roster Monday.
