Delhi sees slow early turnout As per the Election Commission of India (ECI), Delhi recorded a sluggish voter turnout of 8.10% by 9 am. The North East district reported the highest turnout at 10.70%, followed by South West at 9.34%. New Delhi district recorded one of the lowest turnouts at 6.51%.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Monday claimed that the Election Commission has surrendered before the BJP. Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal reiterated his allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar that he "wants a job post-retirement" and accused him of "destroying the country" for mere post.
