PANGLAO, BOHOL — The mayor of Panglao town in Bohol has decided to no longer allow vendors on Virgin Island following reports of expensive food being sold to tourists at a popular sandbar.

The Provincial Government of Bohol did not state a date for Virgin Island’s reopening. Puntod Island lies between Balicasag and Panglao Islands, about a 20-minute boat ride away from Panglao.
