SPRING ARBOR, MI — Hundreds crowded around M-60 in Spring Arbor Monday afternoon for the town’s 50th annual Memorial Day parade. The event started at noon on May 26 with a service to honor military veterans at the parade and those who have died serving their country.

At the Hamblen Memory Gardens and Mausoleums, there was a wreath laying ceremony and remembrance conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America. Every year, Hamblen Memory Gardens hosts a Memorial Day service followed by a small community cookout.
