It was held at the 900 block of Colerick Street, the scene of the shooting. A prayer was led by a local pastor. Family and neighbors spoke about the victim and the need for unity in their community.

Stephen Brannigan was found dead at a house and a priest, Fr John Murray, was attacked at a church the same day.
