Birthplace of Route 66 Festival organizers today announced the lineup for the 2026 festival Aug. 7-8.

The annual Route 66 festival in August will no longer include a parade. Instead, it will invite participants to join open cruises on both evenings.

The car show will then be followed by an evening screening of the Pixar film Cars, which is celebrating its 20th year alongside the 100th anniversary of Route 66.
