Tyler Butler "feared for his life" when he fired a series of shots that resulted in the death of a Spotsylvania teenager, his attorney claimed Monday.

A Stafford man who fired shots inside a Spotsylvania County apartment complex last year for reasons that remain unclear was ordered Friday to serve four years in prison.
