JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Dr. Erin Slater began her tenure as the superintendent for Johnson City Schools on Tuesday, bringing over 30 years of experience in various roles to the position.
Johnson City Schools’ new superintendent Dr. Erin Slater has already been making the rounds to become more acquainted with the district community ahead of her first school board meeting in August.
The district will hold a meet-and-greet event for Slater on Tuesday, July 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Johnson City Schools Central Office, according to a Wednesday announcement.
