Developers building for Meta's metaverse platform will soon be able to create AI-powered NPCs for Horizon Worlds.

The new system, combined with verified IDs and parental consent, "will provide a more accurate measure of a user's age" than what's available now.

Roblox will now require users of all ages to undergo a mandatory age verification to access its communication features.
