JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A boil water advisory for a big part of downtown Jacksonville has been lifted. The city said tests show no contamination after a water line break on Tuesday.

The City of Jacksonville recommends if you live in the area, that you boil water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation.

The advisory is in effect for four subdivisions along Cedar Point Road; Cedar Glen, Cedar Brook, Tidewater and North Hammock.
