Alex Varkatzas, singer of the band Atreyu and a tattoo artist who has plenty of ink of his own, echos Rosenberg's sentiments when I spoke with him, explaining that a wet tattoo could get infected.

Today he works in Super Sport motorcycle racing, as well as a tattoo artist - often tattooing fans of the hit 80s film. He also made a brief return as Atreyu for a Spotify commercial in 2016.
