Vanderbilt women's basketball has a No. 6 seed in the latest March Madness bracketology after recent wins vs Alabama and Tennessee.

There was change at the top of this week's USA TODAY Sports Bracketology with Alabama rising to a No. 1 seed at the expense of SEC rival Tennessee.

Alabama’s season ended with a loss to Michigan for the second year in a row. The Wolverines and the Crimson Tide (9-4, No. 11 CFP) met in a College Football Playoff semifinal at last season’s Rose Bowl, with Michigan winning on the way to capturing the national championship.

Alabama ranks near the bottom in per capita tax collections, relying on high sales taxes and low property taxes.
