A Provo eclipse glasses donation program is asking for help to sort through hundreds of thousands of used glasses people have been sending in from all over the country.

Roger and Allyssa Sarkis decided to design, sell and ship their own eclipse glasses after the 2017 solar eclipse. "We're already pushing an estimated 10,000 pairs offered to us already," he said.

Girl Scouts from Western Pennsylvania are among the volunteers collecting scientific data for the Dynamic Eclipse Broadcast Initiative.

All glasses collected at the treasurer’s office will be shipped to the donation program run by Eclipse Glasses USA.
