Messaging app Telegram released a new update that allows users to make and accept payments via Telegram Bots.

The good thing is that you don't need a Telegram account to view public video messages. The update also brings along Bot Payments (the ability to order goods and services from bots).

Messaging platform Telegram is powering up on the chatbot front, with the launch of what it dubs a "bot-powered gaming platform" -- in a bid to try to drive more engagement via addictive new features.
