To reset the TPM, open Windows Security, go to Device security, and click Security processor details. Then select Security processor troubleshooting, pick a reason for the reset, and hit Clear TPM.

But this security feature has one wrinkle—only clean installations of Windows 11 behave this way. For most people, that equates to when you initially begin using a new PC.
