North Korea recently test fired an estimated 10 ballistic missiles from its upgraded large-caliber multiple rocket launcher system, taking aim at an island target in the Sea of Japan in what was the country’s third ballistic missile launch since the start of 2026.

North Korea conducted a test of nuclear-capable rocket launchers, state media reported on Sunday, a day after Seoul detected the launch of around 10 ballistic missiles.
