Mojang has announced that 'Minecraft' - both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition - will join Xbox Game Pass for PC in November.

Minecraft is an interesting game, with one of the longest developments in the history of the gaming industry.

Java is also not terribly well optimized for 3D games like Minecraft, and wouldn't have run well on the first round of consoles it released on, which includes the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Mojang Studios have announced the Minecraft PC Bundle, a package deal that will give Xbox Game Pass for PC users access to both the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.

Minecraft has been available on Xbox Game Pass on console for some time, but this is the first time the enormously popular PC version has been made available on Microsoft's subscription service.

To be more specific, the two versions are Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, and they'll both be available via Xbox's Game Pass for PC service from November 2, 2021.
