2. Add minimize/maximize buttons back This has always baffled me: GNOME developers must have a reason for disabling the minimize and maximize buttons by default. I find it inefficient and confusing.

When the window is small, the minimize button will be transformed into a maximize button. By clicking the Maximize button on the top right corner, it will expand the Excel application window.

Select the app window you want to maximize. Take your cursor to the top right corner of the window and click on the maximize button that is located between the close and minimize buttons.
