Sarah, who uses a 1.2kg hoop, has posted hula-hooping tutorials during lockdown on her Facebook Slimming World account and Instagram where she provides her members with tips.

Soon, the Hollister native had fashioned her first hoop out of water irrigation piping and started studying YouTube hooping tutorials. When she arrived at Cal Poly, she discovered the Merry Hoopsters.
