Microsoft introduced Swift Pair for Bluetooth back in September 2018. It’s a guideline for manufacturers to create devices that can instantly pair with Windows 10.

In the Devices and Printers window, click the "Add a device" button. Wait minute or two for Windows to detect the Bluetooth-enable phone near the laptop or tablet.

Select Add Bluetooth or other device. The Add a device menu will pop up, asking you which kind of device you’d like to pair with. Select Bluetooth. Grab your AirPods or AirPods Pro and open the lid.
