Wall Street on Thursday pared its gains to trade mixed, as a post-earnings surge in tech titans Meta (META) and Microsoft (MSFT) was countered by jitters over tariffs and economic data that showed stubborn inflation and weak personal spending.

US stocks were mixed Monday and the S&P 500 eked out a record high for the sixth day in a row as investors digested the announcement of a trade deal between Washington and Brussels.
