Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley set an NFL record for most rushing yards in a full season, postseason included.

Saquon Barkley ate birthday cake at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday night, which hardly was the best part of his day. In his seventh NFL season, and first with the Philadelphia Eagles, Barkley hoisted the Lombardi Trophy after the Eagles dismantled the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. Coopers DeJean and Saquon Barkley were born on Feb. 9 … in different years. Feb. 9 was the date of the Super Bowl. Each player was in his first season as an Eagle; DeJean was drafted out of Iowa and Barkley signed as a free agent. DeJean returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.
