Ukraine is believed to have launched a new drone attack on Russia, targeting a major oil depot in the southern Krasnodar region. Kyiv has stepped up its aerial attacks across Russian regions over the winter, as it seeks to disrupt fuel and ammunition supply lines to Putin's army in Ukraine.

The Russians attacked Ukraine with 65 Shahed attack drones and decoy UAVs of various types on the night of 3-4 February. Ukraine's air defence has managed to down 37 of the drones, while another 28 have not reached their targets.

Ukrainian drones attacked an oil refinery in Volgograd and a gas processing plant in Astrakhan in Russia overnight on Feb. 3, a source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told the Kyiv Independent.
