"All exit poll results are showing BJP taking lead. We have been saying that BJP is going to form the government in Delhi. People have rejected Arvind Kejriwal's 11-year rule," BJP MP Yogender Chandolia tells PTI.

Exit polls for Delhi’s 2025 assembly elections suggest a return to power for the BJP, ending a 27-year drought in the capital. AAP is projected to lose significant ground, with projections ranging from a modest defeat to a major loss.

While the majority of exit polls show BJP having an edge to grab the chair in Delhi, only two predict AAP maintaining its hold in the national capital.

Voting in all 70 Delhi Assembly seats began on Wednesday morning. Counting of votes is scheduled for February 8.

Two exit polls released on Wednesday gave BJP an edge over AAP in the Delhi assembly polls, one of the four analysed here gave the incumbent a third consecutive decisive mandate and another gave BJP an even clearer win.

The exit polls came after a weeks-long bruising campaign and a day of acrimonious polling that saw turnouts nearly best 2020 figures in the city.

Exit polls for the Delhi Election 2025 suggest a fierce competition between the AAP and BJP, with AAP potentially securing 40-42 seats, while BJP might win 36-40 seats. Congress is unlikely to make a significant impact.
