Snowfall impacts Friday commutes in Mid-Missouri, no ice expected with latest storm
Another round of snow is expected in Mid-Missouri tonight through much of Friday. Some good news with this latest storm is that ice from sleet and freezing rain is not expected. Snow will begin to build in by early Thursday evening and increase in coverage into the overnight hours.
Weather Impact Alert for Friday with a round of light snow expected in St. Louis
This storm system will pass farther south of our area, keeping snow more manageable. Higher amounts will fall in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.

The National Weather Service in Springfield said Wednesday afternoon that it is putting Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas under a winter weather advisory from 5 p.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday because of a winter storm moving in from the south.
