Florida officials on Sunday painted over the rainbow-decorated sidewalk near the site of the 2016 Pulse Nightclub mass shooting - for a second time in the past week, reports say.

Crews from the Florida Department of Transportation removed the rainbow colors that were painted by protesters on a crosswalk near the Pulse Nightclub. The rainbow stripes were added on Friday in protest against FDOT removing the former crosswalk memorial that honored the 49 lives lost during the 2016 massacre.
