Eli Lilly launched an ad campaign on Friday, cautioning patients against the risks of unapproved weight-loss drugs in its latest attempt to fend off competition from copies of its weight-loss drug.

Eli Lilly has lowered the price of its weight-loss drug Zepbound for patients paying out of pocket and introduced two new available vial doses.

Eli Lilly & Co. said Tuesday it’s cutting the price of single-dose vials of its Zepbound treatment for diabetes and obesity for patients who have to pay for the drug themselves. It said it will also be adding two new doses,
