Matthew Lillard is MCU bound. Ahead of the premiere of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, it was revealed that the Five Nights at Freddy's actor has just landed a role in the second season. Per Deadline,

There's still no official word on what Netflix-era hero will join Charlie Cox in Daredevil: Born Again, but one candidate seems increasingly likely.

This series is a direct continuation of the original 'Daredevil' series, that originally premiered on Netflix in 2015, and is a TV-MA rated Disney Marvel production, for mature audiences.

Matthew Lillard is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and I, for one, could not be happier. Per Deadline, Lillard has been added to the cast of Daredevil: Born Again. Character details are being kept under wraps (of course) but season 2 begins filming in New York City next week.
