Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino are set to join Borussia Dortmund as Chelsea look to balance their transfer books with eight days to go in the summer window

Chelsea allow midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and defender Aaron Anselmino to complete moves to Dortmund - taking money raised from summer sales to £270m.

Chukwuemeka’s on-pitch involvement has been similarly limited since he moved from Aston Villa to west London in 2022, tallying just 32 appearances. He too struggled with injury throughout his time at Stamford Bridge, and was sidelined for five months by a knee issue after scoring his first senior goal in 2023.
