Three New Jersey residents were among the five people killed Friday afternoon when a tour bus carrying more than 50 passengers overturned on Interstate 90 in Genesee County, New York, state police there confirmed. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Friday in the town of Pembroke, roughly 30 miles east of Buffalo, police said.

A tour bus returning from Niagara Falls Friday afternoon crashed near Buffalo on Interstate 90, killing five adults and injuring dozens.

The bus carrying 51 riders lost control on eastbound Interstate 90 in the town of Pembroke at around 12:30 p.m.
